macOS requirements
Apple Silicon is required. The listed minimum is macOS Sequoia 15.7 or later, an Apple M2 Pro and 16 GB memory. The recommended configuration lists an Apple M4 Pro and 24 GB memory. Both require 90 GB of SSD space.
Intel-based Macs are not supported according to the Steam notice.
Linux requirements
The official minimum lists Ubuntu 24.04 or later, the same minimum processor and GPU class as Windows, 8 GB RAM and 90 GB on SSD. The recommended configuration lists 16 GB RAM and the higher Windows-class CPU and GPU targets.
What minimum really means
Meeting minimum requirements means the game is expected to start and operate within supported conditions; it does not guarantee high settings or stable performance on every large late-game map. Network size, population, mods, resolution and background software can change the workload.
Before buying or troubleshooting
- Confirm the CPU supports AVX2.
- Confirm available storage is on an SSD.
- Compare dedicated VRAM, not only the GPU family name.
- On macOS, confirm the processor is Apple Silicon.
- On Linux, use a supported 64-bit environment and current graphics drivers.
- Leave free space beyond the installation size for updates and saves.
